IMM confident in having surpassed voting in Neighborhood Councils

(27-OCT-2008) The authorities at the Intendencia de Montevideo, or IMM, were confident yesterday in having surpassed the number of Residents (74,700) who voted in last year's Neighborhood Council and Participative Budget elections.

Residents could vote for up to three projects to be carried out in their respective neighborhoods between 2009 and 2010. Each Community Center has UYP 3.3 million to finance the most voted projects.
